The Löwenzorn parlour
Your visit at the Restaurant Löwenzorn will be a unique experience due to the very special and traditional interior decoration.
There are different vault-lamps which belong to different clubs frequenting our restaurant, e.g. different guilds, carnival cliques and student
fraternities.
The court garden
The most romantic court garden in Basel with charcoal grill and over 200 places invites to rest and enjoy.
Zunftsaal
Established in the 18th century, stucco decorated and with a large chandelier and fireplace. With various artefacts belonging to the guild of
tanners. Perfect for groups up to 35 guests.
Intarsiensaal
Established in the 16th century, genuine Renaissance style, all walls with wood paneling and inlay works, with stained glass and glass paintings
at the windows referring to the resident tailors guild, for up to 50 people.
Löwensaal
It is our largest hall and newly renovated. We are very proud of this Löwensaal for up to 80 people. Two large wall frescos depicting the
carnival tradition and the three resident guilds are the highlights of this room.
Trommel- & Fechtsaal
The traditional meeting point of the Basler Mittwochsgesellschaft, a well-known resident Carnival clique. This room accommodates max. 35 people
and it evokes a very special atmosphere because no wall is straight...

Studentenzimmer
A traditional room for our carnival cliques for various gatherings. It accommodates up to 15 guests.
Chambre de grimasse
Decorated with humoresque paintings by Roger Magne. Several motifs depict Fasnacht scenes paired with Basel′s sense of humour. A unique
small room for up to 10 people.
Bebbi-Zimmer
A small room for meetings of up to 10 people.
Piz Zorn
At the very top underneath the roof. Suitable for gatherings of up to 25 people.
